I am a fifth-generation chef and restaurateur. We have more than 120 years of family legacy into his professional journey. I have been in the industry for twenty-five years, starting as a dishwasher at my uncle’s restaurant when I was just 17. In addition to my professional achievements, I dedicate time to my local community as a youth sports coach for my children. I am joining CHOW to connect the passion I have, for the industry and my desire to support our unsung hospitality heroes who struggle and thrive on the daily. I, myself, have had many bouts and issues with mental health and I often speak about the need to crumble the facade we put up as an industry and that I have hidden behind far too often.
